Students in this ensemble are learning advanced jazz concepts and playing intermediate to advance jazz charts.\u00a0 This ensemble performs at our annual concerts and performs at the Florida Bandmasters Association Jazz Music Performance Assessment. This group has regularly received superior ratings and has performed at the State Jazz Music Performance Assessment numerous times. Placement in Jazz Band 1 will be by audition or director recommendation.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jazz Band 2 is the intermediate jazz ensemble at MHS which includes students in grades 9 &#8211; 12. Students in this ensemble are learning advanced jazz concepts and playing intermediate to advance jazz charts.&nbsp; This ensemble performs at our annual concerts and performs at the Florida Bandmasters Association Jazz Music Performance Assessment.
