The Wind Ensemble is the most advanced concert ensemble at MHS which includes students in grades 9 – 12. Students in this ensemble are advancing their musical skills to achieve a lifelong appreciation for music. This ensemble performs at our annual winter and spring concerts and performs at the Florida Bandmasters Association Concert Music Performance Assessment. This group has regularly received superior ratings and has performed at the State Concert Music Performance Assessment numerous times. Students in this ensemble also have the opportunity to perform at the FBA Solo & Ensemble event. Placement in Wind Ensemble will be by audition or director recommendation.
